Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area Details/Requirements: Start ASAP and ongoing for twenty hours a week
Adult outpatient coverage working with a developmentally/intellectually disabled seriously mentally ill patient population.
Prefer candidates who have experience working with patients with developmental/intellectual disabilities who also have serious mental illness.
Onsite services only.
Combination of initial visits for assessment and ongoing renewals.
90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups. This is a unique patient population, so there is some flexibility here.
Work closely with a clinician who coordinates and participates in intake assessments and provides therapy services.
Hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (Preferred dates are Tuesdays, 8 hours, Wednesdays, 8 hours and Thursdays, 4 hours)
No call.
Electronic medical record system, so you be computer savvy.
Takes approximately two to four weeks for credentialing.
Six month minimum assignments, but the longer the assignment the better.
