We are seeking a Physiatry (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) physician to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit in Indiana. Position Details:
- Location: Near Crane, Indiana.
- Dates: December 24, 2024 (7:00 AM) - January 3, 2025 (7:00 AM).
- Coverage Type: Inpatient rehabilitation unit, including admissions, discharges, care planning, and daily rounds.
- Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 10-12 patients.
- Schedule:
- Daytime rounding on-site.
- 24-hour call coverage throughout the assignment.
- Weekend call and rounding as part of the assignment.
- Medication Management: Physicians will handle their own medication management.
- EMR System: Meditech.
- Support Team: Includes experienced RNs and patient care technicians.
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility: Required in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Experience: Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Licensing: Active Indiana medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.
