Adolescent + Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in Southern California SUDS and MAT Details/Requirements: Need is for 20 hours a week starting ASAP x ongoing. Youth and adult outpatient SUDS and MAT program covered and overseen by the locum tenens Psychiatrist who will also be expected to supervise/provide collaborative services for a PMHNP. See adolescents 12-17 and adults 18 and over for SUDS and patients ages 16 and up for MAT services. Hybrid services, 40% onsite (8 hours max in person per week) and 60% tele health using TEAMS. Mostly flexible regarding days/hours worked between 8am and 5pm M-F, except they would like 1-2 days a week to have the locum tenens doctor work evening hours until 8pm to accommodate youth who aren t available until after 3pm and adults who are only available in the evenings after work hours. No call. Prefer doctors with SUDS and MAT experience. However, if not, then they will consider Psychiatrists who are fairly knowledgeable about the different MAT medications. Board Certification in General Psychiatry is required plus experience with adolescents ages 12 and up. 60 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-60 minutes for medication follow ups. Electronic health record and an e-prescribing software. Must be computer savvy. Takes approximately two weeks for credentialing. Prefers 6-month minimum assignments but the longer the better.
