Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine nail maintenance, including trimming and treating ingrown nails
Provide comprehensive diabetic foot care, including ulcer treatment
Manage diabetic neuropathy and related foot conditions
Offer nonsurgical treatments such as orthotics, casts, and strappings
Travel to patient homes and nursing facilities
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Nextgen software
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Provide patient education on foot health and preventive care
Adapt to various home and facility environments
Additional Information:
Alabama podiatry license required
Experience with Nextgen EMR preferred
Comfortable with mobile practice and traveling to patient locations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
No medication prescribing required
