Position Details

- Position Type: Locum Tenens (Temporary, ongoing)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with half-day Saturday shifts required
- No call requirements
- Setting: Inpatient, sub-acute rehabilitation facility with a supportive and collaborative care environment
Job Highlights
- Patient Volume: Average of 20 patients per day
- Support Team: PM&R and Internal Medicine coverage, including PT and PMR providers 7 days a week
- Call and Procedures: No on-call duties and no procedures required
Skills and Responsibilities
- Specialty Focus: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a focus on:
- Pain management (chronic and acute) without injections
- Joint, trigger point, and epidural blocks preferred (no fluoroscopic guidance required)
- Diagnostics including EMG and nerve conduction studies
- Wound debridement and arthrocentesis
- Stress reduction and relaxation techniques for holistic patient care
- Certifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 45-60 days, expedited for providers with a clear record
