We are seeking a skilled Pediatrician for a 120-day locum tenens position at a hospital in Massachusetts. The assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive pediatric care, including newborn care, inpatient care, and stabilization for transport/transfer of patients. The position also requires taking call, responding to and admitting inpatients, and rounding in the nursery. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide comprehensive pediatric care for inpatients and newborns
Perform newborn examinations and provide ongoing care
Manage pediatric inpatient cases
Stabilize pediatric patients for transport or transfer when necessary
Diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
Provide preventative care and patient/family education
Take call and respond to inpatient needs
Admit pediatric patients as needed
Conduct rounds in the nursery
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
Additional Information:
Massachusetts state medical license required
