Urgent General Pathology Locums Job in Oklahoma Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client that covers two facilities located in Oklahoma (5 minutes from each other) seeking urgent Pathology coverage later this month, starting May 26. Urgent Dates Needing Coverage: May 26-30 (Monday-Friday 8a-5p + weeknight call + weekend call) June 16-27 (Monday-Friday 8a-5p + possible weeknight call + possible weekend call) Possible ongoing coverage needed 1-2 weeks per month If you are interested but do not want to take call, that is ok with the client Details/Requirements: - Seeking candidates with an active & unrestricted Oklahoma license - IMLC candidates might be an option for late May + June dates - Active Board Certification required at time of presentation - General Pathology at two facilities in the same town (5 minutes apart) - Solo pathologist while on assignment - Q4 2024 daily accessions averaged about 40 cases per day, 53 daily specimens - Cases to be read at both sites daily (typically morning at 1 hospital, afternoon at the other) - Sometimes will stay at one hospital the whole day depending on ROSE procedures timing (other hospital's slides would be shipped to you if necessary) - Pathologists do grossing of big organ and most skins - Histo techs gross GI, small gyn biopsies, breast biopsies, and smaller organs - Pathologists cover the occasional scheduled frozen section procedures - Preferred reads: ROSE for CT, FNA, possible EBUS adequacy - 1st Hospital: 200+ beds, level 3 trauma center, EPIC EMR - 2nd Hospital: 220+ beds, level 3 trauma center, Cerner EMR Jackson and Coker offers: + Direc
