We are seeking a Pathologist for a locum tenens position at a Laboratory / Diagnostic Center in Oregon. This 100-day assignment begins on 06/16/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend duties. The role requires expertise in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP), with a focus on signing out complex surgical pathology cases. Experience in GI or GY pathology is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform anatomic and clinical pathology services
Sign out complex surgical pathology cases
Interpret laboratory tests and provide diagnostic reports
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
Utilize Windowpath software for case management and reporting
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Provide consultation to clinicians on pathology findings
Stay updated on latest developments in pathology
Contribute to the education of medical staff and trainees, if applicable
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Additional Information:
Experience in signing out complex surgical pathology cases preferred
Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty (especially GI or GY) is desirable but not required
Recent graduates will be considered
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Current Oregon medical license required
