We are seeking a skilled Pathologist for a 120-day locum tenens position at a Laboratory / Diagnostic Center in New Hampshire. This assignment begins on 06/08/2025 and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, with rotating call duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with General Pathology, including GI, Breast, Prostate, and Stem Prep procedures, as well as Blood Bank responsibilities. This role requires expertise in various pathological examinations and diagnoses, utilizing the Epic electronic health record system. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic diagnostic environment, contributing to accurate and timely patient care.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, with rotating call


Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform general pathology examinations and diagnoses

Conduct specialized pathology analyses in GI, Breast, and Prostate cases

Execute Stem Prep procedures as required

Manage Blood Bank responsibilities

Participate in rotating on-call schedule

Collaborate with clinical teams to provide comprehensive diagnostic services

Maintain accurate and detailed pathology reports using Epic EHR

Ensure adherence to all laboratory safety and quality control protocols

Stay current with the latest developments in pathology

Provide consultations to other healthcare providers as required

Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pathology department

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed


Additional Information:

Massachusetts or New Hampshire medical license required

Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology preferred

Experience in high-volume pathology settings is beneficial

Strong communication skills for interacting with clinical teams

Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system is advantageous
