Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform comprehensive eye examinations
Diagnose and treat various eye conditions
Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed
Conduct vision tests and analyze results
Provide pre- and post-operative care for eye surgery patients
Detect and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts
Educate patients on proper eye care and vision health
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Assist in establishing and running the optometry program
Stay updated on current optometry practices and technologies
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
