We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Vermont. This 60-day assignment offers weekday coverage, starting 06/02/2025. Job Details: Location: Vermont Facility Type: Healthcare Facility Start Date: 06/02/2025 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Optometrist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Responsibilities and Duties: Perform comprehensive eye examinations Provide post-operative care for surgical patients Manage medical optometry cases, including glaucoma and diabetic eye care Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed Educate patients on eye health and preventive care Collaborate with other healthcare providers for patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Eyemed EMR system Ensure high-quality patient care and follow all protocols and safety standards Adapt to existing workflows and practices in the facility Additional Information: Must be licensed to practice optometry in Vermont Experience in medical optometry required Comfort with managing a diverse range of eye care cases Flexibility to work weekday schedules Opportunity for assignment extension Apply now to learn more.
