A top ophthalmology group in Staten Island with incredible reviews and financial upside is seeking a new physician to inherit a large patient panel due to a pending retirement.
Job Function:
- Practice has 3 physicians and retiring provider has panel of 20,000 patients, mix of medicare and commercial insurance
- Expect to do comprehensive general care, injections and opportunity to do cataract surgery, retinal surgery, or plastics if desired
- Schedule expected to be 4 days in office + 1 day of surgery
- Standard business hours, ideally pick one day to start earlier, one day to stay later and Saturdays optional
- Office has 6 technicians, 10 clerical workers, in house billing department, in house optical shop and the EyeMD EMR system
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary model (collections with ability to earn 7 figures.), malpractice reimbursement, CME time/$ and license and due reimbursement
