We are seeking a board-certified Medical Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at clinics in Oklahoma. This opportunity begins on 09/01/2025, and involves working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with three days at one location and two days at another location. The oncologist will be responsible for managing both hematology oncology and medical oncology patients, with an even split between the two. Duties include handling new patients, follow-ups, and consults for adult patients. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing occasional bone marrow procedures. Eventually, the position may involve a 1:5 weeks call rotation. Proficiency in Mosaiq software is required. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide comprehensive oncology care for adult patients

Manage both hematology oncology and medical oncology cases

Perform new patient consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing treatment

Conduct occasional bone marrow procedures as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Utilize Mosaiq software for patient documentation

Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction

Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

Participate in any required meetings or training sessions

Stay current with advancements in oncology

Potentially participate in a 1:5 weeks call rotation


Additional Information:

Must be board-certified in Medical Oncology

Active Oklahoma medical license required

Comfortable working in multiple clinic locations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
