Physician / Oncology

A large hospital and medical center, part of large health network, is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage. Home of dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, museums, and other attractions, Hartford, Connecticut is a great assignment location. Coverage begins upon credentialing completion for a full-time M-F inpatient day shift, with rotating weekend and 1:8 call schedules. The position is at a free-standing cancer center, treating an adult patient population (5-20 patients for hospital call/rounding). EMR is Epic, with responsibilities split 40% hematology and 60% oncology. Participation in tumor boards is required, and the role is open to full travel candidates. This need arises from an increase in patient volume. See the attached PD for details.
