Seeking a BC/BE Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology to join our team north of Boston, MA. Highlights/Details: In this role, you will focus on providing specialized care in orthopedic oncology for adult patients, bringing a strong clinical background, a commitment to education, and an interest in research. This position is based at two locations Our team-based approach gives each patient benefits from the specific expertise of a group of 19 providers that include surgeons specializing in General Orthopaedics, Adult Reconstruction, Foot & Ankle, Sports, Hand/ Upper Extremity, Trauma & Fracture Care, Medical Podiatry, and is supported by the expertise of Advanced Practitioners. We partner with Hospital Medicine in our co management program to manage our medically complex patients. Although this position is defined as a fully independent oncology program, this role additionally allows for direct communication and collegial relationships with the Musculoskeletal Oncology Program within the Health System. Our residency training program is an affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine, and we are an academic affiliate of Tufts School of Medicine.
