Physician / Oncology

A large hospital-based cancer center is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage. You will not be bored while on assignment in Boise, Idaho. After all, few mid-sized cities can match Boises blend of cultural opportunities and outdoor recreation. Venturing around downtown or enjoying the Boise River or foothills, Boise is no ordinary place. This role offers a 4-day work week (Monday-Friday), with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact, including clinic, treatments, and rounding as needed. Call is shared equitably, 1:7, covering evenings and weekends. Inpatient coverage is provided by an Oncology Hospitalist Monday through Friday (8 AM - 5 PM). Candidates must be Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years) or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology and hold ID and OR licenses (or be willing to obtain them). A completed Medical Oncology/Hematology Fellowship is required by the time of start. DEA and CDS/CSR certifications are required (or willingness to obtain), along with a clean malpractice and license history, which is highly preferred.
