A large hospital with a cancer center is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in northeastern Arkansa 2 1/2 hours NE of Little Rock. This position involves a primarily outpatient practice with occasional inpatient consults. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, for at least 1-2 weeks per month. Call responsibilities may include daytime coverage, but there is no 24-hour call, and weekend call is unlikely (awaiting confirmation). The expected caseload is 12-16 patients per day, including inpatient consults.
