Job Posting Summary We are looking for a Physician Office Triage Registered Nurse for our Cardiology department at Baptist University. It is vital that this candidate is adept with multi-tasking and being people-oriented, as they could make or break the patient's experience. The Office Specialist II for Baptist Cardiology will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. Manages phone calls from patients, providing appropriate advice and instructions. Greets and chaperons patients during medical part of visit. Educates patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. Obtains vital signs and determines urgency of patients condition. Administers EKG to patients. as ordered by physicians. Provides instructions on medication management, dietary changes, and other therapeutic interventions. Maintains medical documentation Schedules appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-up visits. Handles and processes prescriptions and referrals Performs waived test list in laboratory and IV therapy Assists other team members as needed. Provides compassionate patient care and support thorughout the visit. This Physician Office Triage RN position will be located at Baptist University.
