Job Posting Summary We are looking for a Physician Office Triage Registered Nurse for our Cardiology department at Baptist University. The Office Specialist II for Baptist Cardiology will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. Manages phone calls from patients, providing appropriate advice and instructions. Greets and chaperons patients during medical part of visit. Educates patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. Obtains vital signs and determines urgency of patients condition. Administers EKG to patients. as ordered by physicians. Provides instructions on medication management, dietary changes, and other therapeutic interventions. Maintains medical documentation Schedules appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-up visits. Handles and processes prescriptions and referrals Performs waived test list in laboratory and IV therapy Assists other team members as needed.
