OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Virginia 24-hour Pager Call Coverage + Some Clinic Coverage Needed
Dates: Starting in 2025 and ongoing through the year
Our client in Virginia needs a locums provider to cover sporadic OB visits in office and 24-hour pager call.
Details/Requirements:
ASAP start (as soon as credentialed 60 days)
Call hours are 24 hours 7am-7am; prefer locums that are able to do days at a time and cover some weekends
Pager and taking call for the hospital/ED
Board Certification required
Virginia license required
DEA required
Office Coverage: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm
Number of OR s: 1 in L&D, 4 rooms in OR. Typically, the C-sections are done in L&D
Weekend Average of callbacks: 2 to 3
Weekend Average of admissions: 2
Required procedures: Vaginal Delivery
• Cesarean Delivery
• Circumcision
• Hysteroscopy
• Surgery for Missed AB
• Incomplete Abortion
• Hysterectomy
• Ovarian Cystectomy
• D&C with/without suction
