A medical services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team in Queens as their newVice President of Homeless Shelter. Responsibilities: TheVice President of Homeless Shelterwill:
• Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff complies with the organization's and funders polices and rules
• Oversee all program operations and manage direct reporting program staff and their subordinates
• Develop and implement Quality Assurance measures to ensure quality service delivery to clients
• Ensure that all client files and program files are kept in compliance with organization's and funder's standards
• Direct, coordinate, supervise and document programmatic activities facilitated by direct reporting staff
• Observe staff engaging with clients and/or supervisors and their direct reports
• Conduct client and program progress reviews with staff
• Prepare, review and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of, contract reports and statistical information for both organization's management and funder use Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related Operations experience
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience in a Leadership role
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communications kills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized Desired Skills:
• Master's Degree
• Previous experience in a Shelter role/setting
