ConferMED has an immediate need for a Board Certified Pediatric Neurologist (MD and DO only) licensed in California.Answering eConsults is done through our internet based platform and is a flexible way to add additional revenue to your practice without additional overhead. We anticipate 20-30 eConsults per month in California and we pay our Specialists at a per eConsult rate.Who is ConferMED? ConferMED was developed by practicing providers who wanted a simple solution to increase access to Specialty care. At ConferMED, we value our network of Specialists and are committed to providing a collaborative and responsive environment to support our Specialists.What is an eConsult? eConsult Basics: eConsults are a clinician-to-clinician consultation that involves the PCP and Specialist. Treatment authority remains exclusively with the PCP. Patients are not involved directly like in traditional telehealth. All eConsults take place over a secure HIPAA compliant platform. Specialists can access this platform using any internet connected device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Most eConsults can be answered in about 15 minutes.Who does ConferMED serve? ConferMED works with providers across the US serving patients with limited access to Specialists. eConsults can help bridge the long wait times many patients experience while waiting for an appointment.Our Current Pediatric Specialties Include: Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Nephrology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Urology and more.
