We are seeking a skilled Neurologist for an 84-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. Starting on 05/19/2025, this opportunity offers a 24-hour call schedule from Monday morning to Sunday afternoon. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with long-term video EEG monitoring, providing inpatient consultation services, and outpatient clinical care including medication management and treatment planning. This role requires expertise in neurology, adaptability to various clinical settings, and proficiency with the eClinicalWorks electronic health record system. The neurologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive neurological care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring patient safety throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct long-term video EEG monitoring

Provide inpatient neurological consultation services

Manage outpatient clinical care, including medication management

Develop and implement treatment plans for neurological conditions

Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies

Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system for documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Adhere to all facility policies and procedures

Provide patient education on neurological conditions and treatment options

Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to neurological care

Stay updated on the latest neurological practices and technologies

Adapt to various clinical scenarios and emergency situations


Additional Information:

Minnesota state medical license required

Experience in long-term video EEG monitoring preferred
