We are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Neurology physician to become part of a multi-specialty group that includes Neuro-psychologists, Psychologist and an Ortho/Spine Surgeon. The practice is located in a Professional Office Building associated with an acute care Medical Center.Key Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient/outpatient consultations60% outpatient, 40% inpatientRespond to inpatient consultation requests within 24 hoursCall includes Stroke, ER, and USC Telestroke Office hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am 3pmMRI, CT, lab and x-ray onsiteImaging Center, 3 Tesla MRI in the same buildingGreat communication and interpersonal skillsServe and work with a diverse group of colleagues and patientsWork with a collaborative, communicative group of physicians and midlevelsRobust referral sourcesHospital based SSEP opportunity for spine surgeryOpportunity to work in a teaching environment; Family Medicine Residency program and Physician Assistants at USC and Chapman University, and, 3rd and 4th year International medical studentsAdministrative ResponsibilitiesParticipate and coordinate appropriate patient care conferences and staff support servicesComplete all documentation and charting on the same day or shift as the clinical service renderedBill for direct patient care activity and submit billing documentation on the same day or shift as the clinical service renderedFluency in Spanish desiredQualificationsMedical Degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in UrologyCurrent California State Medical License to practice medicine without restrictionCurrent DEA certificate requiredHospital stroke coverage experienceInpatient management skills and a proven track record providing exceptional patient care BenefitsCompetitive salaryRetention bonus for the right candidateAs a Neurologist with IMS, you will be a part of a dynamic, growing company that is raising the standard in healthcare.
