The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Stroke Neurologist. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive care, contribute to cutting-edge research, and engage in teaching the next generation of neurologists.
Position:
- Be a part of a nationally recognized comprehensive stroke center
- Hospital serves as a hub for a 26-spoke telestroke network across the state of Georgia
- Serve as an attending physician on the stroke service in 7-day blocks
- Contribute to teaching, mentorship, & participation in clinical research
- Post stroke transition clinic managed by APP
- Stroke/telestroke call coverage estimated 5 per month
- Competitive base salary with productivity-based incentive
- Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology required
- Experience in neurosonology is desirable but not required
