Neurohospitalist Physician Locums Job in North Carolina Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for stroke care? Mission Hospital, a leading primary stroke center with Mechanical Thrombectomy services, is seeking an Inpatient Neuro Hospitalist to join our team for Q3 and Q4 2025. Be part of a dynamic team making a difference in patients lives. What You ll Do: Support 15 day shifts per month (12-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday) in the Inpatient Neuro-Hospitalist service. Work across the Neuro ICU (34 beds), Neuro Step Down, and Med Surg (A6W) units. Collaborate with a full nursing staff, stroke manager, and 5 stroke coordinators to provide exceptional care. Focus on stroke care in a high-impact environment no EEGs or resident supervision required. Some shifts may include Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support. What We re Looking For: Will have Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 1 additional Inpatient Neuro MD for support. Experience in stroke care is a must. Availability for 4-5 consults and 10-15 rounds per shift. Flexibility to work weekday or weekend shifts. Why Join Mission Hospital?
