As a Neonatologist you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill and premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes for our smallest patients. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations of newborns, including those with complex medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and family participation.
• Provide continuous monitoring and management of neonates in the NICU, addressing acute and chronic medical issues.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for newborns.
• Educate parents and families about their infant s condition, treatment options, and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
• Engage in professional development and research opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in neonatology. Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in family interactions.
