A large hospital is seeking a maternal fetal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Pennsylvania. This position offers 25 days of coverage, with a preference for scheduling on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, though Monday and Friday are also options. The role involves no clinic or after-hours call. It requires an MFM Physician to manage patient volumes of approximately 55-60 ultrasounds, 20 non-stress tests, and 4-6 consults daily, using the Epic EMR system. Consults are typically straightforward (e.g., AMA and obesity), with pre-existing templates available. The workload is streamlined due to efficient sonographer input, and anatomy scan durations are extended to allow for a slightly lower volume.
