Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage high-risk pregnancies, including multiple gestations and diabetic patients
Review and interpret ultrasounds for Anatomy Scans, Biophysical Profiles (BPP), and Growth Scans
Provide expert consultation on complex obstetric cases
Collaborate with OB/GYN team for patient care
Assist with normal deliveries when on call (rare occurrence)
Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
Develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies
Educate patients and families on managing high-risk pregnancies
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Stay current with the latest advancements in maternal fetal medicine
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Provide on-call coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
Active Mississippi state medical license
Experience in managing complex, high-risk pregnancies
Proficiency in interpreting obstetric ultrasounds
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
