Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage a full panel of internal medicine patients
Diagnose and treat common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and COPD
Address acute care symptoms for internal medicine patients
Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings
Develop and implement treatment plans for chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
Provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
Utilize Meditech EHR system and paper charts for patient documentation
Stay updated on the latest advancements in internal medicine
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information:
Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine
Active Maine medical license required
Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred but not required
