Job Responsibilities:
Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/illnesses.
Perform selected laboratory testing, referrals to physicians, as needed, write prescriptions, and perform procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
Work in collaboration with the facility's medical director, attending physicians and other care providers to provide care and treatment services for all patients.
Participate in patient assessment and the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the care plan.
Counsels and educations patients regarding their physical or mental health or delegates such education to a competent source.
Advises patients on how to prevent disease.

Requirements:
Active, unrestricted license to practice in state where facility is located.
Primary care physician preferred - family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
Current DEA registration.
A valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
