Physician

VHS is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Longview, TX, with an annual volume of 36,000 patients and a patient load of 2 per hour.

•  Required credentials include ABEM/BEEM or ABFM/ABIM with EM experience, ACLS, and ATLS (once). Non-ABEM candidates need ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.

•  Physician coverage is 30 hours with 20 hours for mid-levels.

•  Trauma Level III, EMR is Medhost, and no scribes are used.

•  Shift times are 10 hours (6a-4p, 12p-10p, 8p-6a), with coverage of 30 hours for physicians and 20 for mid-levels.

•  Hospital has 224 beds, ED has 21 beds, with comprehensive specialty backup.
