Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist - Pediatric Unit Job Specialty: Hospitalist - Pediatric Job Duration: Permanent Placement Shift: Day - 3x12 - 7am to 7pm (36 hours) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Idaho Medical License or IMLC compact-eligible Certifications: Board Certified in Pediatrics (REQUIRED) Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (PREFERRED) Must-Have: - Board Certified in Pediatrics - Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine - Idaho Medical License or IMLC compact-eligible - Willingness to obtain required licenses Job Description: - Provide care for pediatric patients in the Pediatric Unit, consulting in the emergency department and surgical patients. - Follow a 7 on 7 off schedule with hospital rounds and on-call duties from home. - Collaborate with a sister program 30 minutes away for consultation and collaboration. - Opportunity to develop a sedation program and work in a Level II Trauma center. - Engage in consultations for patients in the emergency department and other units within the hospital.
