Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Infectious Disease Job Duration: Full-time, Permanent Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week Experience: License: Illinois and Iowa licenses required, or willingness to obtain Certifications: - Board Eligible (with plans to test within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Board Eligible (with plans to test within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Infectious Disease Must-Have: - Fellowship in Infectious Disease (to be completed prior to start) - Clean malpractice record preferred - Cannot accept providers with any malpractice cases in probate or who require supervision - Not accepting visa candidates - Not accepting locum candidates Job Description: - Provide inpatient services - Manage a busy outpatient practice on the hospital campus - Rotate weekly with the other Infectious Disease Physician between outpatient clinic and inpatient duties - Call duty is every other week, including nights and weekends Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed during interview) - Relocation assistance available if applicable - Paid Time Off, plus six paid holidays - Continuing Medical Education allowance and one week for CME - Health, dental, vision, life, disability coverage - Retirement savings plans with matching contributions - Malpractice insurance coverage
