Are you a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist seeking a transformative opportunity? We are currently seeking a dynamic OB Hospitalist to join our team for locum to perm coverage near Tulare, CA. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on maternal healthcare while enjoying the vibrant community life of the region.
Job Details:
- Start Date:
- Immediate start after credentialing
- Shifts:
- 24-hour in-house shifts
- 5-7 shifts per month
- Call Ratio:
- Patient Load:
- Areas of Rounding:
- Post Partum, Ante Partum, and Labor and Delivery
- ICU Beds:
- EMR:
- Credentialing Timeframe:
Support and Environment:
- Support Staff:
- RNs, Back-up physicians, Physician Anesthetist, and/or CRNA
- Volume:
- 3-4 deliveries per 24 hrs
- 13-15 average patients per 24 hrs
- Coverage:
- The physician is the in-house coverage for all patients with or without a private physician
- Full-time in-house OB/GYN hospitalist at Saint Agnes Medical Center
- NICU Levels:
- Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs in the hospital (Saint Agnes Medical Center)
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified/BE within 5 years
- State License:
- California license required at the time of name clear
- Certifications:
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required
- Background:
- Clean background with no malpractice preferred
