Seeking a Qualified and Experienced Hospitalist
Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Internal Medicine physician seeking a challenging locum tenens opportunity? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Palm Beach, FL. This three-month position is available starting ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse adult patient population with a variety of medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage patient care throughout their hospitalization, including medication management, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any complications.
- Educate and empower patients and their families regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected recovery process.
- Document medical records accurately and efficiently within the designated electronic medical record system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hospital medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Florida (FL) medical license is required.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital medicine setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in internal medicine.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
