An academic hospital has a job opening for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join their growing team. Located in Southwest CT, they are offering a c ompetitive salary + RVUs.
Job Function:
- Shift work
- Oversee hospitalized pediatric patients and do well baby rounding
- Will also consult between dept of pediatrics and family medicine
- Teaching hospital and will provide teaching for dept of surg. family med and PA students
- 10+ bed inpatient ped. unit with daily census of 6-7
- 30+ beds in the well baby nursery. avg daily census is 12-13
- 8 bed Ped EM unit in hospital staffed by Ped EM physicians
- Peds unit and NICU have recently been fully updated
