Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care

Diagnose and treat various blood disorders and cancers

Develop and manage treatment plans for patients

Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies

Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses

Stay current with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology


Additional Information :

Maine medical license required for this position (despite the job being in New Hampshire)

Strong experience in outpatient hematology and oncology is essential

Comfort with managing a diverse range of hematologic and oncologic conditions

Ability to work efficiently in an outpatient setting

Opportunity for assignment extension beyond the initial 6-month contract
