- Ongoing Assignment with flexible scheduling
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call coverage (not in-house); hotel accommodations provided for on-call providers.
- Call Requirements:
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Average call volume: 3 phone consults and 3 admissions per 24 hours
- 300 deliveries per year, supported by a robust team of mid-levels who handle most labors
- Patients Seen Per Shift: Approximately 3
Facility and Practice Details: - Practice Setting: Inpatient only
- Bed Count in Department: 6
- Support Staff Provided: 2 RNs on duty
- No Resident or Teaching Supervision Required
- Temporary Privileges Available for quick onboarding (estimated credentialing time: 15 days)
- Trauma Level 4 / Peds Level 1
Requirements: - Active Tennessee medical license (TN Medicaid also required)
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
Skills Preferred: - Management of high- and low-risk pregnancies
- Expertise in routine deliveries, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs
- Proficiency in gynecological procedures, including IUD placement, colposcopy, and minor or major surgical interventions (laparoscopic and open)
