Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Hawaii. This 35-day assignment begins on 05/01/2025, with a flexible schedule including clinic hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and a rotating call schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with routine clinic cases such as birth control, follow-ups, and OB visits, as well as managing deliveries and performing C-sections. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred, and an active Hawaii medical license is required. This position also offers the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide routine OB/GYN care in clinic settings

Manage birth control consultations and follow-ups

Conduct prenatal and postnatal visits

Perform deliveries and C-sections as needed

Participate in 1-in-3 call rotation

Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management

Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

Ensure high-quality patient care and follow-up

Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Participate in any required departmental meetings or training sessions


Additional Information:

Comfort with both routine clinic cases and obstetrical procedures required

Active Hawaii medical license required

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Flexibility to work clinic hours and participate in call rotation

Possibility of extension
