Seeking BE/BC OBGYNs to join independent nonprofit health system in eastern Idaho with their innovative practice model.

This opportunity is perfect for OBGYNs who want a clear, structured practice model that guarantees financial stability and professional autonomy. The ideal candidate values collaborative patient care and team-based OB delivery and is seeking flexibility to tailor their GYN focus while maintaining OB practice.

The flexible practice model is designed to support rural healthcare while offering work-life balance and professional fulfillment. We deliver about 30 babies per month and are committed to maintaining strong OB services for our growing community of 50,000 people. To ensure long-term sustainability and physician well-being, we re introducing a shared OB practice model with a one-in-four call rotation.

How This Model Works:

  • Call & Clinic Rotation: Each physician takes 7 days of call every four weeks, covering L&D, OB clinic, and patient management during business hours that week.
  • Work-Life Balance: Outside of the designated OB call week, physicians have the flexibility to customize their GYN practice, take time off, or adjust their workload, part-time or full-time (or no time) GYN and women's health services.
  • Collaborative & Supportive Team: This model ensures that patient care remains seamless while allowing physicians to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Exceptional Work-Life Balance Physicians have true time off while ensuring 24/7 exceptional patient care through a cohesive one-in-four team approach.
  • Whether you love delivering babies, prefer a heavy GYN focus, or want a balance of both, this model supports different career priorities.
  • Work in a patient-centered environment, supported by a dedicated OB clinic team, nurse educators, and an engaged administrative structure.

About the Role

OB Commitments : Structured one-week-on, three-week-off rotation
5 days of OB clinic
Call for L&D, ER consultations, Csections, and patient management
Supportive OB team and nursing staff
Defined patient volume expectations

GYN and Women s Health : Outside of OB weeks, complete flexibility to build GYN, surgery,
and women s health services in a fully independent RVU-based model (salary guarantee for the
first two years)

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Part-time and Full-Time Available
  • Base salary of $250,000 for Call and Obstetrics Clinic, with additional earnings based on productivity for GYN and women s health services. There is a significant earning opportunity for GYN surgery practice. Market conditions make earning potential very high on GYN
    surgery and women s health clinic, with hospital providing an income guarantee for the two years of establishing GYN practice. And with complete flexibility on the remainder of the month, you can work as much or as little as you would like
