Additional Info: OB/GYN'S will provide hospital coverage for both obstetrical and gynecological needs at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge, a full-service, 150-bed hospital and the first birthing facility in the state to be recognized as a Baby-Friendly designated birth facility. The Family Birthing Center, averaging 1,600 deliveries per year.- Responsibilities may include GYN call coverage for the ED, triage patients in Labor and Delivery, and backup office-based OB/GYN's by seeing their hospital patients when they are unavailable, start deliveries, and/or assisting in C-sections and other surgeries.- Program is supported by a group of employed OB/GYN's and a team of Certified Nurse-Midwives.- Ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative work environment in a community hospital practice setting.- We invite highly qualified candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care and are eager to build upon a growing Women's Services program within the Baton Rouge region.
