Service area has 25 counties.ROLE OVERVIEW- GI -HOSPITALISTThe GI service will rotate 7 on-7 off as a consultant service covering the acute inpatient hospital. Management of various GI disease processes such as GERD, PUD, GI bleeding, esophageal and variceal bleeding, GI cancers, Crohn's disease, IBS, and other GI related illness/ conditions. Will perform consultations, daily rounding, and procedures consistent with clinical privileges. APP support will be available.Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday. Every other week 7am-7pm.
