Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Illinois Seeking Coverage for FULL Month of August + 1 Week/Month Ongoing Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in western Illinois that needs GI locum tenens coverage starting in August 2025 + ongoing. The client needs the entire month of August covered in full (weekdays + weekends), however, going into September, will only need one week per month of ongoing coverage. Are you available? Dates of Coverage: - Seeking full-time coverage during the month of August 2025 (just over 4 full weeks of coverage) - Monday - Friday inpatient coverage from 7A - 4 PM + night / weekend call coverage - September + ongoing, will need 1 week / month of ongoing coverage Description/Requirements for Assignment : Active & unrestricted Illinois medical license required (DEA + CSR required as well) Monday through Friday doing inpatient rounding + scopes, will spend 1 hour of the day doing clinic (located in the hospital) Must be comfortable with doing conscious sedation Will work in the inpatient setting doing scopes, patient rounding, emergent consults, etc., from 7A 4P Monday Friday Night call from 4P 7A during the week + weekend call coverage starts Friday at 4PM Monday at 7AM Will do an average of 11-13 scopes per day General bread & butter GI coverage Will be the solo-GI during August (employed GI will be gone for the month) 4 GI APPs + 1 GI staffed at the facility (2 inpatient APPs, 2 clinic APPs) Quick credentialing timeline (30 days), 75+ bed facility, designated level 2 trauma center, cerner EMR Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability
