Family Medicine Core Faculty
Family Medicine physician to join as Core Faculty with a Family Medicine Residency Rural Track program.
Academic Position Details
0.4 FTE spent in resident oversight and teaching, 0.3 FTE spent on administrative tasks for the residency program, and 0.3 FTE spent in direct patient care of a patient panel.
Provide adequate clinical supervision levels to residents which are appropriate to their level of competency and training.
Collaborate with the Program Director to maintain residency program accreditation standards and evaluate clinical competence of residents through established feedback methods to ensure eligibility for board certification.
Participate in curriculum development, coordination, and implementation.
Facilitate education through didactics presentations, simulation labs, attendance at regional and national conferences.
Work collaboratively with community preceptors, adjunct faculty, and specialists within the regional medical system.
Engage in any or all areas of scholarship and promotion of inquiry to contribute to the advancement of the discipline of family medicine.
Participate in Faculty Development to enhance the effectiveness of teaching, administration, leadership, scholarship, clinical, and behavioral components of faculty members performance.
Clinical Position Details:
Average of 10 hours per week dedicated to direct patient care with 30-minute appointments.
Opportunity to work inpatient hospitalist shifts.
Well-established team of full-time clinicians.
