A Corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Pound, Virginia. This position requires a two-week credentialing timeframe and is open to MDs only. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. The facility sees 18-20 adult patients daily, supported by RNs and LPNs. Candidates must have a VA license and DEA certification, with prescriptions managed through Sapphire while other records are paper-based.
