We are working with Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, MI. They are seeking Family Medicine coverage starting in December. Family Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to serving an underserved population with a wide range of care. Family Health CenterKalamazoo, MIThis position is not affiliated with a hospital.Primary CareJob Details:Start Date: December 1 - Ongoing (30-day privileges at most, no inpatient credentials needed, until a permanent provider is found)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (1-hour lunch)Shift: Ambulatory, walk-ins, full range, after-hospital stay visits, 20-minute appointments, some telehealthPatient Load: 20+ patients per day in a fast-paced environmentPatient Population: All ages, from newborns to seniorsSetting: FQHC (serves underserved populations and sees patients with various types of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare)Support Staff: 2-3 mid-levels, MAs, triage nurses, and a Behavioral Health consult teamEMR: EPICIf this sounds like something that is of interest to you, please send me your CV to get started.
