Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct routine physical examinations and health screenings
Provide acute care for various illnesses and injuries
Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
Perform minor procedures including suturing and skin treatments
Administer breathing treatments as needed
Stabilize patients and arrange transport to nearest ER when necessary
Dispense medications from the clinic's dispensary
Utilize Athenahealth EMR system for patient documentation and management
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Provide on-call coverage as scheduled
Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
Experience in full-spectrum family practice required
Comfort with both outpatient and urgent care scenarios essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a clinic environment
Current Hawaii medical license required
