A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. Home of dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, museums, and other attractions, Hartford, Connecticut is a great assignment location. This role requires a 3-week credentialing timeframe and follows a Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule with no call responsibilities. The average daily patient volume is 8-10, with duties split roughly 50/50 between administrative oversight, including signing off on mid-level charts, and direct patient care. The patient demographic is adults aged 18 and older. Required certifications include a Connecticut license and Board Certification. The team includes 4 clinical directors and 9-11 mid-levels, such as podiatrists and part-time MDs. The practice uses the NextGen EMR system.
