New ENT Physician Locums Job l North Carolina Coverage needed starting end of June while the hospital recruits for a permanent physician. Details/Requirements for Assignment Active North Carolina license required Board Certification required Schedule: Monday-Thursday clinic with Surgery day Friday (as needed) Inpatient and outpatient coverage. Clinic is a stand alone ENT clinic with an experienced Audiologist in the practice Can expect to see 16-18 patients per day and 6 surgeries per month Locum will no backup ER and won't see any ICU/Critical Care Codes Will need ongoing coverage until a new candidate is in place Typical cases seen: Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy, tympanostomy tubes-BM&T (OR or in office) , Biopsy-Bx, Incision and Drainage-I&D (OR or in office), epidermal inclusion cyst, septoplasty, turbinoplasty, concha bullosa, tympanoplasty, microsuspension direct laryngoscopy and biopsy, ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus, maxillary sinus, frontal sinus, nasal antral windows, endoscopic, and frontal- OR cases, Pertonsillar abscess, tympanostomy tubes-BM& (OR or in office), Incision and Drainage-I&D (OR or in office).
