Physician / Emergency Medicine

A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. While on assignment in Salem, Virginia, tube down the Roanoke River, explore downtown Roanoke, or visit Parkway Brewing Company. The position offers 8-hour shifts with a 45,000 annual patient volume and strong support staff. Board certification or eligibility in EM, FM, or IM is accepted. The EMR system is Meditech. MD shift times are 7 AM3 PM, 9 AM5 PM, 3 PM11 PM, 5 PM1 AM, and 11 PM7 AM. APP shift times are 6 AM2 PM, 11 AM11 PM, 2 PM10 PM, 10 PM6 AM, and 11 AM11 PM. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided.
